The Gordon Castle Country Fair and Highland Games is expanding for 2017 and will run on Saturday 20th May and Sunday 21st May 2017. The Saturday will pay homage to the Castle’s heyday, focusing on traditional skills, dress, music and agriculture from 1900s – 1940s including our brand new vintage village, speakeasy music session, rare breeds and heavy horses. Discover SATURDAY HERE. On Sunday our traditional Highland Games returns and, for the first time, we will host the Scottish 28lb Weight for Distance championships. Discover SUNDAY HERE.
Highland Games have taken place at Gordon Castle since Edwardian times and the tradition was ambitiously revived in 2011 along with the addition of our Country Fair.
Now two days, the Gordon Castle Country Fair and Highland Games will celebrate the Castle’s heyday as well as hosting the 28lb Weight for Distance Scottish Championship. Will a new world-record be set?
We are enormously grateful for the continued support of each and every one of our sponsors. Our expansion for 2017 will prove beneficial for both sponsor and visitors and we can’t wait to welcome you.
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2017 will showcase a wealth of local, handmade and artisan gifts. Come along and browse our exclusive range.
